Walli Höfinger

Walli Höfinger (Austria) is a performance artist, dancer, voice performer and Roy Hart Voice Teacher based close to Berlin. Her artistic research focuses on improvisation and composition with voice, movement, video-installation and piano.

Since 1996 she has developed and performed solo work involving movement/air-acrobatics, video-installation, sound, colored light and voice. She has also enjoyed working collaboratively with international artists such as Jonathan Hart-Makwaia, Deborah Hay, Experiment Stimme, Hillary Jeffrey, Det Andet Teatret, Judi Wilson/Montpellier, Ingo Reulecke. Recent work includes the “Fermata Project”, an international theater-project, produced and directed by Barbara Simenson/Denmark and composed by Laila Skovman/Denmark. She is a certified Roy Hart Voice Teacher, regularly teaching voice workshops across Europe and at the Roy Hart Center itself.

Walli teaches in German, English and French.
